THE FAMILY STONE Yes, it's the real deal - the iconic masters of funk themselves! Founding members Jerry Martini and Cynthia Robinson are now Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, and they are are carrying on the legacy, bringin' their signature sound - and lots of hits - to the Ball. The Family Stone is not only recognized worldwide for those hits and their energetic performances, but their iconic status have led themto share stages with Prince, George Clinton, Van Morrison, Carlos Santana, and so on. Well, we're just a bunch of "Everyday People" who like to dress up and "Dance to the Music" - in all its funkafied glory - and we're happy to get that chance at the 2010 Ball!
SUPER GEEK LEAGUE It's rare for us to bring a band back two years in a row, but we got more emails saying "who were those guys? they were f*cking great!" than ever before. They were last year's Sonicbids Top Indie Band winner, they are called Super Geek League, and their show is a veritable sci-fi punk circus of costumed madness and distinctive quirky primal funk. LZ LOVE A longtime Ball favorite, LZ Love is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter who hails from the Midwest. She has gone from church choirs to the dance scene, and from there - the Exotic Erotic Ball - now that's what we call "having range".
